Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa, has been “almost numb” since the California helicopter crash that killed her NBA legend husband, their 13-year-old daughter and seven others, a report said Wednesday.

“Vanessa is completely shocked and heartbroken but is trying to stay as strong as she can in front of her children,” a source close to the clan told Entertainment Tonight.

Kobe, 41, and his wife shared four daughters, among them Gianna, who was killed alongside her dad when their Sikorsky S-76B helicopter crashed in the foggy hills of Calabasas around 9:45 a.m. Sunday en route to a youth basketball tournament in Thousand Oaks.

Now, Vanessa Bryant is trying to push through her grief to stay strong for the three surviving daughters: Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, born just last June.

“Vanessa married Kobe when she was 18 and never expected to live her life without him,” the insider told ET. “She has been surrounded by her family and friends but she feels almost numb to everything.

“Right now she’s taking time to be with her girls.”

Sources had previously told People magazine that Vanessa, 37, “can’t finish a sentence without crying.”

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by agencies including the National Transportation Safety Board.

Officials have noted that pilot Ara Zobayan was flying through dense fog and at too low an altitude to be picked up on radar and receive guidance from the ground.
