Joe Allington, 87, said he has absolutely no idea why.
“I was completely shocked at the number of people from every corner of the world who watch me on TikTok,” Allington said. “But I don’t do it for the fame. I do it for the tremendous fun with my granddaughter.”
His 15-year-old granddaughter, Brooke Paintain, thought Allington — beloved by his family for his goofy nature — would be an instant hit on TikTok, so she set him up with an account.
